Chakri Day (The Chakri dynasty is the current ruling royal house of the Kingdom of Thailand, and has ruled the country since 1782.)
Songkran Festival (The traditional Thai New Year and infamous "water festival" usually starts on April 13 and traditionally ends on April 15. In some parts of Thailand, however, Songkran may last up to a full week. In Pattaya, April 19 marks the main and final day of Songkran.)
