Buondi Da Noong Ristoran Tino
Thappraya Road, between South Pattaya and Jomtien
This strangely named and unimposing Italian eatery with plastic chairs, a menu that shuns fancy creations, but focuses on real Italian food "as mama used to cook it", and, most importantly, lots of Italian regulars, probably is the best example of an original Italian restaurant in town.
Here it's all about food, i.e. great pasta, delicious pizzas and other Italian delicacies at incredibly low prices. For example, Pattaya's possibly best Spaghetti Carbonara costs only 150 Baht!
Not really an insider tip anymore, Buondi Da Noong can be found on Thappraya Road - corner of "Jomtien Nivate" - between Pattaya and Jomtien beach (halfway up the hill, on the left-hand side when coming from Pattaya.) Highly recommended!
