Currently, Pattaya has three cinemas ensuring plenty of seating arrangement to watch the latest Hollywood blockbuster or local movie. All movie theatres show both domestic-made Thai movies and international productions "made in Hollywood." (Watch out for the subtitles to make sure you catch the right show as some films have both subtitled and non-subtitled showings.)
Thai movie theatres are air-conditioned and inexpensive for Western standards, with ticket prices starting at around 100 Baht. Before every movie Thailand's national anthem - along with a short videography of King Bhumibol - is being played. In order to pay respect to the revered monarch, you are expected to stand up, also as a Farang.

It's a non-profit organisation and 'member club' offering membership to all players, regardless of handicap, race or gender. IPGC offers weekly scheduled competitions and "major" tournaments. Pattaya's most popular jogging paths are the beach promenades of Pattaya and Jomtien Beach. The Pattaya Fitness Park on Pratamnak Road (Big Buddha hill in South Pattaya) features a jogging track in pleasantly landscaped surroundings.

International Pattaya Golf Club (IPGC) www.ipgc.org
The International Pattaya Golf Club, formed in 2000, organises and coordinates competition golf in and around Pattaya. It's a non-profit organisation and 'member club' offering membership to all players, regardless of handicap, race or gender. IPGC offers weekly scheduled competitions and "major" tournaments. Competitions are held 6 days a week. IPGC negotiates with local clubs, on behalf of its member societies, to achieve the best discount rates for competition green fees and offers advice when necessary. The following golf societies currently comprise the IPGC.
Pattaya Golf Society (PGS)
Pattaya's first formalised golf group, the Pattaya Golf Society, plays competition golf three times a week from its new clubhouse, Rabbi's Elephant Bar on Soi Buakhao, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Pattaya Golf Society (PGS) can be contacted at Rabbi's Elephant Bar or via Pattaya's best golf website at www.pattayagolfsociety.org.
The Alternative Gentlemen's Golf Society (TAGGS) can be contacted at The Haven Hotel on Soi 13, off Pattaya Beach Road. They play Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Lewiinski's Golf Society can be contacted at Lewiinski's Bar and Hotel on Pattayaland Soi 1. They play Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Jomtien Golf Society can be contacted at Siam Cats Bar on Jomtien Soi 5. They play every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Horseback Riding

Located in Pattaya's green countryside (near the Mabprachan Reservoir), the Horseshoe Point "International Riding School" features pleasure and pony rides for beginners, riding lessons and "Art of Classical Riding" instructions, including dressage and show jumping. Jet-Skiing
Jet Ski rental is available anywhere along Pattaya beach or Jomtien Beach, with rates starting around 600 Baht for 30 minutes.
As with water scooter rentals, please beware the typical scams of jet ski operators attempting to extra-charge you for alleged damages. There is no insurance.
Jogging
Pattaya's most popular jogging paths are the beach promenades of Pattaya and Jomtien Beach. The Pattaya Fitness Park on Pratamnak Road (Big Buddha hill in South Pattaya) features a jogging track in pleasantly landscaped surroundings.
Jogging enthusiasts ambitious enough to compete in long-distance running may consider taking part in the popular Pattaya Marathon, organized every year in July.

Non-floodlit 800-metre professional kart racing track for amateurs and pro's, with off-road tracks and a "Kid's race track". Open daily from 9.30-18.30h. 250 Baht (10 minutes).
